Welcome to the Clutter Cafe!

Today is my birthday.  The big 4-0.

I have never been a “birthday kinda girl”. I think it’s because I  have never really been comfortable with being the center of attention. Well, now that I’m forty, nothing has changed. I still don’t like being the center of attention and I definitely don’t like the idea of being “middle aged”.

But, now that I’m a mature woman (and I use that term loosely), as I still find flatulence HYSTERICAL!  I think it’s time to grow up. By this I mean, look at the areas in my life that add stress and rob me of otherwise happiness.

Here are a few things that send me right over the edge.

  • Clutter
  • Disorganization
  • Errands
  • To Do lists

Let me clarify.

  • Clutter…There is a lot of STUFF in my house. Now, I’m not talking Hoarders or anything, but just too much stuff.
  • Disorganization…I can’t find anything because there’s too much stuff
  • Errands…I do WAY too much running around, because I’m disorganized, because of too much stuff.
  • To Do lists…I start them and never seem to get anything checked off. This is usually because I write them in a notebook and then I put the notebook somewhere and when I can’t find it, I start a new list in a new notebook, and the cycle continues. Are you seeing a pattern here?

This is the reason for The Clutter Cafe. It’s a place where I can share my journey of cleaning out the clutter and organzing my life…one junk drawer at a time. It’s also where I can release my creativity and follow my passion for cooking, photography and design.

I’ll need all the help I can get, so thanks for coming along on my journey.
